2017’s already off to a good start
We’re going to cut to the chase here: Ed Sheeran is back. He’s just popped two – yes, two! – new singles on t’internet, and they’re both bloody brilliant.
Shape Of You
The first one’s called Shape Of You. It’s a low-key dance track that’s probably going to get stuck in your head after the first listen, and we can’t get enough of it. Ed‘s said that it was originally written for Rihanna, but we think that he pulls it off fairly nicely himself:
Castle On The Hill
This one’s our favourite of the two, and it’s the one that sounds the most like a ‘typical’ Ed Sheeran song. It’s a stomp-pop banger in the vein of Mumford and Sons, and we think that it’s going to be the song of this summer’s festival season. Enjoy:
