You Need To Check Out This Epic Playlist Of Our Favourite Rock And/Or Roll Songs

What does this sound like to you?

The Simpsons has given us a lot of good stuff over the years. It introduced us to the everyman rule-enforcement superhero that is/was Frank ‘Grimey’ Grimes, for instance. It gave a certain Elon Musk a positive role model in the form of billionaire flamethrower enthusiast Hank Scorpio. Then, of course, it’s left us with a legion of beloved cartoon characters. SmithersProfessor Frink. Oh, and who could forget dear Rat Boy? Heck, need we even mention the likes of MolemanComic Book Guy, and family favourite (and all-around good-time-guy) Duffman? Ah, what a gaggle of goofballs they are.

There is one thing that this fabled yellow family’s factual docu-series has gifted to us that’s often overlooked, though. No, it’s not the genius of Maggie Simpson, or the inexplicable (yet undoubtable) raw sexual magnetism of a certain Ms. Edna Krabappel. It’s the invention of a brand new, and undeniably rich, musical genre: Rock And/Or Roll.

But what the hell does this hell-haven sound like?

What is Rock And/Or Roll, I hear you ask? Well, it’s the kind of music that your mother is afraid of. It’s the crashing of cymbals, and the screeching of amplifiers, and the sound of the very paradigms of this puny world shifting as the devil himself rises up from the flames and proceeds to melt your face off with a red-hot guitar solo. (Which is bad).

But, in case you still require further clarification, we’ve taken the time to put together a little collection of songs that we feel most adequately describes the nature of the genre that the good Reverend Lovejoy so lovingly termed ‘Rock And/Or Roll‘. So, dear reader, why don’t you just sit back, relax, and prepare to have your socks well and truly rocked off by a collection of songs so hell-raising that it’ll make Maude Flanders turn in her grave. Enjoy:
