They’re the heavy-riffing three piece from Kingston upon Thames, and they’ve got a funny knack of writing the kind of sprawlingly epic progressive rock songs that Biffy Clyro‘s Simon Neil wishes he was still allowed to release. They put on one hell of a live show, too
As you know, the one thing better than a great rock band is a great rock band who are seriously, immensely, and unbelievably good live; and, fortunately for all of us, Arcane Roots are one of those bands.
They’re so good, in fact, that we couldn’t resist sending the brilliant Jodie Mitchell down to their show at Reading’s Sub89 to snap some shots of the show so that we could share it with you lovely lot. We think that you’re going to like these a lot – so, sit back, relax, and prepare to be amazed:
