GIG GALLERY: These Photos From Eliza and The Bear’s Guildford Show Will Make You Wish You Were There

The London pop kids know how to put on a show

We know that we’re young, but it’s no exaggeration for us to say that we’ve adored Eliza And The Bear for as long as we can remember.

Our teenage years were soundtracked by their bouncy indie-pop bangers, to the extent that we’re pretty sure that all we listened to for one long, hot, sweaty summer was their self-titled debut album; and, if their forthcoming new album is anywhere near as good as the singles they’ve already released from it, we’re pretty sure that we’re going to be playing the hell out of this one as well.

This reminds us, we really must see them live again soon

Way back in April, we tried our very best to tell you just how lively an Eliza And The Bear gig can be; but, since a picture really does paint a thousand words, we decided to send the supremely talented Jodie Mitchell down to Guildford to snap a few shots of the band’s set for you, just so that you could experience the entire thing from the comfort of your own home/office/long, lonely commute. Wasn’t that nice of us?

So, dear reader, we cordially invite you to sit back, put your feet up – unless you’re on a train, of course – and enjoy these glorious shots of one of Britain’s very best good-time bands doing their thing in a sweaty room in Surrey. We think that you’re going to love ’em:
