Meadowlark’s New Single Is A Gorgeously Chilled Piece Of Laid-Back Electro-Pop (And We Absolutely Adore It)

We can’t get enough of these two

Bristol-based alt-pop duo Meadowlark (AKA Kate McGill and Dan Broadley) have just released a brand new single into the world, and we happen to think that it’s bloody extraordinary.

Arriving complete with melancholic lyrics, wonderfully soft vocals from Kate, Dan’s brilliantly varied multi-instrumentation, and careful use of that echoed vocal effect that Meadowlark have long since mastered, we’d say that Appetite makes for a seriously expansive (and multi-layered) listen, and one that you’ll keep going back to again and again; and, if it’s any indicator of just how good their forthcoming second album is going to be, then we think that this record might just turn out to be an absolute corker.
