You know those singers that just stop you in your tracks?
They’re rare, but they do exist. We’re sure you can remember, for instance, the first time you saw Adebe‘s BRIT Awards performance of Someone Like You. Oh, and Susan Boyle‘s Britain’s Got Talent audition. Maybe even Linkin Park‘s cover of – urm, Adele, again – at the iTunes Festival a few years ago.

Well, if you’re a fan of the kind of vocalists that make you feel like you’ve been sucker-punched in the gut by Tyson Fury, then you’re going to adore Maverick Sabre.
He takes a pinch of blue-eyed soul; adds in some smooth-as-silk pop production; and polishes it all off with a vocal that’s as reminiscent of Plan B as it is Frank Sinatra. He also appears to be very good at it – after all, he’s spent this summer bringing the #feels to festival stages up and down our fair land, and he even managed to convince a certain Ms. Jorja Smith to lend her vocal talents to one of his latest singles.
So, yes, we think it’s fair to say that he’s doing rather well for himself at present.
So, naturally, when we found out that Maverick Sabre would be heading to Bristol’s SWX on his latest UK tour, we knew that we had to be there.
After all, why wouldn’t we want to be there? He’s got the voice of a bearded angel and we couldn’t love him more.
We also knew that, after the show, we’d be kicking ourselves if we didn’t have something to share with you lovely lot to show just how fantastic his set was.
