Look, we’re going to level with you here.
Frankly, we were rather expecting to like this year’s Reading & Leeds line-up. In all honesty, we even thought we might be quite impressed by it. After all, last year bill’s was Rather Bloody Good, and we’d be lying if we said that there wasn’t a part of us that was hoping that this year’s bill might – maybe – hit those same lofty heights.
What we weren’t expecting, however, was to be blown away by it.
Not only have they managed to equal last year’s Reading & Leeds line-up – but, somehow, they’ve managed to exceed it. Sure, it takes a lot to compete with a running order that featured an afternoon set from one of the biggest Pop Stars on the planet, a Twenty One Pilots/Post Malone double-header, and the flippin’ Foo Fighters; but, we think that they’ve only gone and bloody done it.
