Barn on the Farm Festival have unveiled their Intimate Friday line-up

Our favourite rural weekender just got bigger and better

Have you heard of Barn on the Farm Festival‘s Intimate Friday? It’s pretty simple, really: they take a barn, fill it with 200 people, and get some of the country’s best new artists to show up and play some songs. The festival have just announced the line-up for this year’s Intimate Friday, and we think that it’s pretty flippin’ good:

The Secret Headliner

One of our favourite parts of Barn on the Farm Festival‘s Intimate Friday is its secret headliner. It’s always a big name – last year’s secret headliner was the wonderful Gabrielle Aplin – but we won’t know much more until the weekend of the festival. Who could it be? Your guess is as good as ours…

Amber Run

Big choruses, glorious harmonies, and shimmering guitars – who doesn’t love a bit of Amber Run?

Barns Courtney

Hotly-tipped singer/songwriter Barns Courtney will be bringing his swaggering acoustic-rock to the Intimate Friday stage, and we think that he’s going to be brilliant. You won’t see him playing stages this small for much longer, so catch him while you can:

Kyko

Quirky alt-indie boy KYKO makes catchy pop music with cracking choruses, and we think that he’s going to go down a storm at Barn on the Farm‘s Intimate Friday:

Tom Walker

This man’s name is Tom Walker, and he writes great acoustic pop songs. More importantly, though: WHAT A VOICE.

Phil Plested

Chasing Grace’s Phil Plested will be bringing his solo set to the Intimate Friday, and we can’t wait to see it:

Grace Ackerman

Grace Ackerman hasn’t actually got any original songs on YouTube, but this cover of David Bowie‘s Rebel Rebel is very nice indeed, so we’re going to assume that she’s also going to sound very nice when she plays the Intimate Friday:

Ten Tonnes

Ten Tonnes will be bringing his anthemic acoustic-led indie to the Intimate Friday stage:

Aaron Rowe

He may be young, but he’s certainly got one hell of a voice. Aaron Rowe, ladies and gentlemen:

Sophia Alexa

Sophia Alexa is a little bit special, isn’t she? She’s only seventeen, and yet she can already sing like this:
