They’ve gone properly synth-pop and it suits them
We love a bit of Apollo Junction here at One on One HQ. They’ve spent the last few years cranking out continually excellent indie-rock anthems, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed: indeed, this Leeds lot have already been lauded by the likes of Steve Lamacq, Janice Long, and The Times; oh, and Graham Norton‘s a fan, too. If Norton‘s sold, they’ve got to be good, right?
The band have just released a gloriously melodic (and surprisingly synth-driven) new single, and we think that it’s really rather good. We would tell you even more about it, but we think that it’s best for you to just sit down and check it out for yourself: after all, it is more than worth a listen:
