They’re young, but they’ve arrived fully formed
For a band that was only formed earlier this year, Russo have certainly honed in on their sound at a very early stage. Their track Loudmouth (taken from their debut EP House With A Pool) has a fantastic mix of poppy drum beats, that hint of a lingering edgy rock bass from Sean Ritchie and those alternative sounding yet beautifully raspy vocals from Cailin Russo.
You can’t pigeonhole this band; even from the first listen of House With A Pool it’s clear that this four–piece are out to create the music they truly want to and don’t need to fit within the walls of a genre. With Loudmouth, they’ve already proven that they can magic up some ridiculously catchy beats and a effortlessly craft them into a wonderful Summertime anthem – we can’t wait to see what they do next.
