We don’t know about you, but we think that pint-sized singer-songwriter Jade Bird is absolutely fantastic. As a general rule, she writes the kind of folk-country songs that make you wonder what ever happened to that super-sweet-but-not-quite-right ex-girlfriend you had when you were a teenager; but, she also does a mean line in penning angry, angsty, and downright aggressive acoustic rock tracks.
Our favourite thing she does, though, is that she has a fantastic habit of taking these angry songs and spinning them into something that’s… Well, just beautiful. We won’t say too much about this one, because we think that the track tells you everything you need to know: so, all we’ll say is that if you only get three minutes to spare today, you could do a lot worse than to use them to check out this acoustic version of Uh Huh by the ever-wonderful Jade Bird:
