Indie-Rock Rabblerousers FEET Have Announced a Sprawling UK Tour (and a new album release date)

Don’t worry, beloved reader – we know that you’re tired.

It’s been a Bit Of A Day in terms of t’news, and you’ve got more than enough going on in your own life to not want to faff around with anything that isn’t completely necessary – so, we’ll keep this one short for you.

FEET are great. Their new album, ‘What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham’, is coming out on October 4th and it will, in all likelihood, be very good indeed. The band had this to say about it:

“Going into a first album, you don’t have any prior intentions, you just pack the car with cathartic autobiographies, some Carling, and if you’ve not been dropped by your management after a month, you’ve had a result.”

“Without any real sense of direction of scope, the album became really a reflection of the 8 or 9 months we spent moving from place to place writing the fucker. You doss about with each other for the majority of a year, something’s bound to happen, something to write about, and fortunately it did. And that’s the album. But that doesn’t sound very cool. It’s about drugs.”

Ah, how witty and effusive they are.

If you like razor-sharp hooks, lyrics about being young/dumb/broke/all of the above, and some of the best indie-rock songs that are coming out of the Midlands right now, then you’re in luck: FEET have announced a UK tour and they’re (almost certainly) coming to a town near you. Tickets are available tomorrow at 10am and you’ll be able to get yours from here.
