Remember the name, kids…
Bristol-based songsmith James Humphrys has spent the last few months sailing the seven seas on various cruise liners, but don’t you dare call him a cruise ship singer. Instead, you can call him any of these:
a) A fascinating ‘indie-pop prospect’.
b) A songwriter with a knack for writing precisely the kind of instantaneous melodies that you’ll need to get surgically removed from your frontal lobe.
c) Or, perhaps, one of the most exciting new talents to have come out of Bristol-via-Guilford for a long ol’ time.
We’ll let you decide which one. In the meantime, why not check this out? It’s his new single, it’s called Lay It All Down, and it’s the best thing that this twenty-something singer-songwriter has ever released.
