We all know that Frank Turner’s a force of nature.
After all, the man’s played 2423 live shows (and counting) and still managed to find the time to pen more folk-pop bangers than we’ve had hot dinners. That, dear reader, is what we call productivity.
Still, we’re acutely aware that not everybody’s had the pleasure of catching a Frank Turner live show. That’s why we’re pretty chuffed that the man’s releasing a brand-new live album, recorded at his 2000th show at Nottingham’s Rock City. There’ll be a DVD available, too, for those of who who still buy DVDs. (Hi, Dad).
Now, we don’t know about you, but we think that sounds pretty great.
A full Frank Turner show, featuring all of the #hits, recorded for prosperity and available to blast out at high volumes whenever we feel like it? Consider us sold.
Oh, and when we said ‘all of the #hits’, we meant all of the #hits. Don’t believe us? Well, here’s the track listing for the CD. The DVD’s even got a handful of extra songs on it – including an Ace Of Spades cover. Because that’s just lovely.
