Strap on your acoustic guitars and get ready for the tears to flow: it’s Stand Up To Cancer time.
Yes, dear reader, it’s nearly time for us to all grab a pew, enjoy some top-notch live music, and raise money for a seriously worthy cause. In case you don’t know, the Stand Up To Cancer concert is an annual acoustic night that takes place at the Union Chapel in North London.
It is, as we’re sure you’ll agree, Quite A Nice Venue:
2020’s show is taking place on Tuesday February 11th – and, guess what? There’s literally nothing to dislike about it.
The line-up is always awesome – previous years have featured the likes of Kodaline, James Morrison, and Lewis Capaldi – and all of the net profits go straight to Stand Up To Cancer. That, dear reader, is what we call the perfect gig night.
This year’s headliners are a little band called White Lies. You may remember them from such bangers as Bigger Than Us, To Lose My Life, and Tokyo. Oh, and this, of course:
They’ll be joined at Stand Up Cancer’s Union Chapel show by:
Maisie Peters
Benjamin Francis Leftwich
Aaron Smith
And Kitt Philippa
