Fancy doing a good deed and being in with a chance of winning some money-can’t-buy prizes?
Liam Gallagher’s tour manager, Ben Pomphrett, has started a project called Help Our NHS that aims to benefit frontline NHS staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspired by his partner’s work in intensive care, the organisation looks to show their appreciation to the people in healthcare who are making huge sacrifices during this challenging time by helping to provide them with both treats and essential items.
So far, Help Our NHS has donated hand creams, sandwiches, toiletries, hand creams, drinks, sweets and cakes to staff. But, Pomphrett’s now drawn on his experience in the music industry to raise funds for the project by launching the new NHS FEST music raffle.
That, dear reader, is what we call a bloody lovely thing to do.
Oh, and did we mention that he’s convinced some fairly famous singers, bands and brands to chip in with prizes for the lucky winners? Like these ones:
Liam Gallagher.
The former Oasis man has donated a pair of extremely rare signed Adidas LG Spezial trainers – there are only six signed pairs in existence (!!!). Oh, and tickets for future gigs, a signed Pretty Green parka, and a signed tambourine.
Bring Me The Horizon.
Everyone’s favourite alt-metallers have parted with the guitar played by Lee Malia in the ‘Ludens’ music video.
Peaky Blinders.
The team are offering set visit during the filming of season six and tickets to their Peaky Blinders Festival.
And, Live Nation.
The live events giant has given a pair of Golden Tickets which will allow entry to all Live Nation UK shows and festivals throughout 2021.
Looks bloody great, doesn’t it?
You can enter the raffle by visiting this website. Head to the website and you’ll see a list of artists and companies who have gifted prizes arranged in a ‘festival-style poster’. Clicking on an artist name will direct you to a page which details the prize on offer and allows you to enter the raffle, with all tickets priced at £5.
So, go on then. What are you waiting for?
