It’s the most punderful time of the year!
Ah, Christmas. We’ve got it sussed by now, haven’t we? The food. The presents. The precious time spent with family, friends, and those weird distant cousins you only see a couple of times a year. Oh, and the fact that the holiday period brings with it an excuse to drink yourself merry at inappropriate times in the afternoon. What’s not to love about that?
Here at One on One HQ, there’s only one thing that really floats our festive boat about Christmas time. One thing that makes us really, really look forward to the first day of December.
We’re talking, of course, about the tunes.
There are some people, though, who aren’t quite as keen on the conventional Christmas bangers as we are.
To be fair, we can understand that. If you’re a heavy metal lover, it’s natural that you’re not going to be the world’s biggest Mariah Carey fan; and if you’re obsessed with alternative rock, we can see why you’re not going to have your boat floated by a certain Mr. Michael Bublé.
So, with those people in mind, we’ve cobbled together a festive playlist of our favourite alt-rock, indie, and alternative Christmas tunes. Yes, we may be missing a few of the festive ‘classics’ from this list, but trust us when we say that this playlist still contains more than enough bangers for you to deck even the most spacious of halls with.
