Reading and Leeds Festival Have Announced 20+ New Acts For Their Already Insane Line-Up

Reading and Leeds Festival needs no introduction.

Taking place simultaneously across two sites from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th August, the festivals will welcome well over one hundred thousand through their gates over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It might have been born as a jazz festival in the ‘60s, but it’s now (rightly) earned a reputation as one of the best commercial and alternative music festivals in the country.

And now, they’ve only gone and added a veritable plethora of musical goodness to their already bulging 2023 lineup. These latest additions will be joining the likes of Sam Fender, The Killers, Billie Eilish, Foals, Lewis Capaldi, and Imagine Dragons on the festival’s stages – so if anyone tells you that they’re not getting their money’s worth for their ticket price, we suggest that you have a firm word with them.

.

‘But who are these artists that you speak of?’, we hear you cry?

Well, dear reader, let us explain.

Not only have they welcomed the likes of venbee, Cordae, and Mae Stephens to 2023’s bill, but they’ve decided to pop Highlyy, James Marriot, Somebody’s Child, Foushee, and Ken Carson on there for good measure. That’s not too shabby at all, really, is it?

Still, we know that these new additions will be a lot for you to wrap your head around. After all, when you’re busy wondering which corner of the garage you shoved your tent into and how you’re going to lug four cases of Carling across the campsite, it’s easy to forget that you’ll need to actually work out which acts you’re going to catch over the weekend.

But, as always, One on One has your back. So, if you were to ask for our top three picks from the Reading and Leeds 2023 line-up, we’d probably point you towards…

The Snuts

Having semi-recently popped up on our radar, these West Lothian boys’ unique brand of indie rock combined with a massive stage presence has ranked them at the top of our list of artists to catch at Reading and Leeds 2023.

.

Bakar

Good vibes and good tunes see Bakar take to Main Stage East on the Sunday of Reading and Friday of Leeds. Making his musical debut in 2017, he has quickly established himself within the UK music scene, and we can only see him getting bigger (and better) from here.

.

Arlo Parks

Earning nominations for Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best British Female Solo Artist at the 2021 BRIT Awards with her debut album, Arlo Parks is one of our favourites from this year’s Reading and Leeds 2023 lineup.
