Here Are 5 Reasons Why You Can’t Miss Charli xcx’s LIDO Festival, London Show

We’re guessing that you’ve heard of Charli xcx, right?

She’s the punk-tinted pop princess whose Brat album became the kind of cultural phenomenon that was quoted by US presidential candidates, appropriated by every twenty-ish-year-old this side of John O’Groats, and briefly replaced ‘bottomless brunch’ as the go-to ‘I’m still cool!’ pop culture reference of every prosecco-swigging forty-something whom you’d, generally speaking, otherwise find at a Take That show.

She also happens to be an absolute icon. And what do icons do in this day and age, dear reader? They headline festivals.

.

That’s why it should come as no surprise that that’s precisely what Charli xcx will be doing on Saturday June 14th.

That’s headlining London’s LIDO Festival, to be exact – a new series of one-dayers from the team behind All Points East, and a slew of events that’s already gearing up to be one of the highlights of the summer.

We think that this, in itself, should be enough to convince you to part with your hard-earned cash and pick up a ticket for this one-day pop extravaganza. But if you’re still after some further convincing, here are five – yes, five! – reasons why you absolutely, unequivocally cannot afford to miss Charli xcx’s headline set at LIDO Festival 2025:

1. Brat Summer isn’t officially dead yet

    Trust us. There’s still time.

      2. The line-up for the entire day looks absolutely insane

In case you’d missed it, Charli’s going to be joined by a frankly ridiculous line-up of pop talent, including The Dare, The Japanese House, A.G. Cook, and 070 Shake.

        .

        3. It’s going to be one hell of a show

She’s already brought Brat to arenas across the UK, Europe, and North America, and delivered a barnstorming Coachella set – so it’s safe to say that this pop star knows exactly how to work a supermassive crowd.

          4. Hedonism just hits differently in a field

We all know that this is true. Sure, it’s technically possible to enjoy a double vodka lemonade and a dance in an indoor space – but isn’t it just better at a festival?

            5. And, quite frankly, because why the hell not?
