Christopher Cross Has Announced A UK Tour (With A Very Special Guest)

Smooth pop legend Christopher Cross is heading back to the UK next spring for a run of nine shows that’ll take him from Southend to Edinburgh.

The tour kicks off on 12 May 2026 at the Cliffs Pavilion and wraps up on 22 May at Usher Hall, with stops at some of the country’s most iconic venues along the way.

If you’ve ever found yourself humming Sailing on a Sunday morning, or belting out Ride Like the Wind on a road trip, you already know what Cross brings to the table. His sound – all soft edges, gleaming guitars and yacht-ready grooves – helped define an era of ultra-smooth pop that’s aged far better than anyone expected. The guy’s got serious credentials too: his debut album scooped up all four of the “big” Grammy Awards back in 1980, a record only Billie Eilish has matched since.

.

More than forty years on, Cross hasn’t lost his touch.

His live shows are famously tight and full of heart – the kind of evenings that remind you just how good melody-driven songwriting can be. Expect the hits, sure, but also a few deep cuts for the faithful.

Joining him is Chris Difford, the lyrical brains behind Squeeze and one of Britain’s most underrated storytellers. With tunes like Up the Junction, Cool for Cats and Tempted, Difford’s writing has always balanced wit with warmth, and his solo performances mix dry humour with sharp musicality. In other words, a perfect foil for Cross’s polished California vibe.

So, you want to see the full list of dates? Perhaps presented in a poster-esque format? Oh, go on then.

Tickets for Christopher Cross’s UK tour are on sale now.
