One on One’s Selfie Sessions: The Guidelines

We don’t ask for much, but we do have a few requirements for this feature. And, because we’re a lovely bunch, we’ve popped them all into a handy list for you.

It’s simple, really: all we’ll need is for you to record a video of yourself performing one of your original songs. You can do it however (and wherever!) you like – feel free to mix it up! We’ve had acoustic sessions recorded on clifftops, and pro-shot sessions recorded in studios; so, feel free to put your own twist on the concept.
.
We also ask that you record a separate clip of you saying ‘Hi, I’m [name], and you’re watching One on One’s Selfie Sessions’.
.
All Sessions videos should be filmed on the highest-quality audio and video recording equipment available to the artist. If none is available, then a smartphone camera – set to the highest-possible recording settings – will be absolutely fine.

Oh, and please use the rear-facing camera, not the front-facing (‘selfie’) camera.

.

Once you’ve recorded your Session, please send both the Session video and the separate introductory video to our Editor, Danny, via WeTransfer.

Please also send over any high-res promo photos you have, as well as details of any relevant upcoming releases/tour dates that you’d like us to include within the article.

That’s not too bad, is it? Once we’ve got all that, we’ll have everything we need to get your Session online! If you’ve got any questions, just drop Danny an email using the address above.
