You know Haytor, don’t you? They’re the South-West’s equivalent to Chris Martin and Brendon Urie‘s bastard lovechild, and they write the kind of piano-led power-pop songs that we can already tell are going to sound great on next year’s festival stages.

The indie-pop outfit’s latest track begins with a delicate, scene-setting piano, and then the rest of the group slowly chimes in as Lovesick Girl truly slots into place and established itself as a full-bodied, anthemic, and infectious belter of a single. This is hugely heightened with Austin Robison’s unique vocal tone, making for an eclectically original track, yet one that still manages to be wonderfully reminiscent of that Scouting For Girls-esque piano infused indie-pop that we have all grown to love over the years.
